AIdAM also signs the Manifesto for collective action on artificial intelligence and robotics

“As AIdAM President, I am happy to have welcomed the Association's interest in our proposal to join the Manifesto on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, because I believe it is absolutely essential to define precise “rules of the game” before innovation can be used improperly and cause damage not only to companies but also to individuals. AIdAM has long created an AI Observatory that constantly monitors the phenomenon and provides timely updates to our 83 member companies. We firmly believe that AI can also have a profound impact on the automation sector that we represent at a national level”.

The new president of the Italian Association of Mechatronic Automation (AIdAM), Raffaele Barile, has signed the Manifesto for collective action on artificial intelligence and robotics, which affirms the principle of priority to inclusion to promote equal access to technologies, encourage the sharing of knowledge and resources, enhance multidisciplinary technological education, support educational innovation and professional training, encourage research for sustainable development, provide continuous training to workers, promote inclusive technological solutions and transparent communication.

AIdAM is the association that for 25 years has represented in Italy the innovative sector of mechatronics applied to machines and assembly, testing and handling solutions. Its main objective is to create value around the mechatronics sector to represent it with ever greater strength and promote the growth of associated companies and the entire sector.
